How to get your transactions in
Most banks (Chase, BofA, Wells Fargo, Citi, Amex, etc.) let you download your transaction history as an OFX, QFX, or CSV file. Log in to your bank portal → Accounts → Download transactions → choose OFX/QFX or CSV → then click Import File above.
Direct Connect uses the legacy OFX protocol and is no longer supported by most major banks.

Connects to 12,000+ banks. Transactions sync automatically.

Sign up free at plaid.com/docs → get your Client ID + Secret → add to your environment:
Sandbox is free and works with test credentials. Development costs ~$500/mo. Production requires Plaid approval.

No CSV accounts yet. Import a bank statement or add an account manually.
